While we may be one of Loudoun’s most dog-friendly wineries, this Saturday, it’s all about the cats! We are delighted to again host Loudoun Community Cat Coalition’s annual fundraiser, Whiskers & Wine. LCCC partners with local and national animal welfare/rescue organizations and veterinarians to provide affordable and accessible Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services for cat caretakers throughout Loudoun County, Virginia. They have provided medical care and spay/neuter services for more than 1,000 community cats. Come out and support their efforts at this fun event!
Your $20 donation* (purchase in advance or at the door) gets you $5 off a bottle of wine and a chance to win the Grand Prize, worth more than $300.
Loudoun County Animal Services will be here with their mobile adoption unit full of cats and kittens looking for their forever homes. The Compass Rose Room will have nearly a dozen vendors for your shopping pleasure, and you can take part in a number of educational sessions and cat-related demonstrations throughout the day.
Each additional bottle of wine purchased gets you another free raffle ticket for the Grand Prize. You can also purchase raffle tickets for chances to win one of many gift baskets or tickets to the Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants game on 11/23, parking included.
There will also be a gelato truck, caricature artist, and author book signing. Get more details here and make plans to support a great cause. Open to all ages. 8 Chains North will donate 10% of the day’s wine sales to LCCC.
