The Brewery
Best Little Brewhouse in LoCo
A common refrain among winemakers is that, “It takes a lot of beer to make good wine.” Heeding those words of wisdom, we took steps to start our own brewery at 8 Chains North. We planted hops, built a 10′ x 20′ brewery, and invested in equipment. We “tapped” our friends in the brewery business to share recipes, teach us the basics, and help us with our first batches.
Our beers are named after Latvian pagan deities—a shoutout to Edz’s Latvian upbringing. Keep an eye out for new seasonal offerings. Check out the Best Little Brewhouse in LoCo when you visit, taste what we have on draft, and take home some cans or a growler.

Mēness is a masculine deity associated with the moon and known as the “protector.” He is seen as a protector of travelers and soldiers, due to his role as a source of light at night. He is invoked before military campaigns and is also associated with the life cycle, creation or destruction, living or dying.
