Shannon and Miles’ late June Virginia vineyard wedding was an intimate gathering of family and friends. They didn’t let a pandemic stop them from having the wedding of their dreams. They are college sweethearts who couldn’t wait another day to get hitched.

Having a summer wedding meant endless possibilities for gorgeous flowers, which made their unique antique mantel altar really pop! Shannon and Miles’ love for art was evident in their centerpieces. They used statue heads as vases, and hand painted each guest a small canvas for their seating assignments. Their hip vibe permeated the evening, and their love and adoration for each other was such a joy to see.

What makes a Virginia vineyard wedding so special? The number one reason couples choose a vineyard or winery for their venue is for the overall beauty and stunning photo opportunities. Especially, in season, the verdant vines make a spectacular backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. There’s something so sweet about our couples enjoying some post-ceremony moments in the vineyard—just the two of them. Other reasons include the oftentimes rustic nature of vineyard venues. Plus, the great wine, of course! 8 Chains North prides itself on its amazing, award-winning wines. Book venue tour and wine tasting today.
