Venue Spaces

Your wedding ceremony will be set within the vineyard behind the winery. In the first place, the sun setting in the western sky makes for an exceptionally beautiful and romantic scene. Before the ceremony, couples may wish to have their photos taken around the property (so many great first look options!). Afterwards, the happy couple can take romantic photos deep among the vines. In the meantime, our expansive patio and lawn provide ample room for your guests to mingle during the cocktail hour enjoying the vineyard views.

The Compass Rose Room provides the perfect ambiance for your Virginia winery wedding reception. A large, open space, it boasts high ceilings, elegant lighting, and access to the covered patio through multiple French doors. The vibe is classically rustic. In addition, the glass wall looking into the barrel room and cork-covered walls add striking wine-related elements. Moreover, the Compass Rose Room has an adjacent catering kitchen, making for effortless and functional service. In nice weather, it’s especially nice to open the French doors, which subsequently allows for a wonderful indoor-outdoor event.

The Tasting Room is adjacent to the Compass Rose Room and is available after 6:00 pm. A large, inviting area with cozy seating and multiple tasting bars, therefore it makes an ideal location for the cocktail hour. Another great feature of this space is the stone fireplace. Oftentimes in winter, some couples use it as a romantic ceremony backdrop for smaller weddings.

The Vine Room upstairs may be used as a gathering space for extended family members and early-arrival wedding guests. You’ll be surrounded by fairy-lit vines that came from our Waterford Vineyard, and the space is enhanced by whimsical and elegant vine chandeliers. The Vine Room is especially suitable for smaller, intimate weddings and accommodates up to 40 guests with ample bar space and farm table seating. In addition, couples may rent the attached Vineyard View Deck at the same time as the Vine Room.

Also upstairs are two spacious rooms for the couple and bridal party to get ready. The larger suite offers plenty of seating, an oversized floor mirror, and a beauty bar—perfect for hair and makeup. Whereas, the smaller room is a rustic space to gather and prepare prior to the ceremony.
