Kimberly and Michael wanted their wedding at a winery, and said their vineyard vows at 8 Chains North in October. They had an amazing backdrop of fall foliage, and their nearest and dearest family and friends. They chose to have their sweetheart table in front of our stunning glass wall looking into the barrel room.

Kimberly and Michael are both active duty military, and have traveled all over the world. They incorporated their love story into their event design. Instead of using numbers, they named their reception tables for the countries they have visited together. They had a stunning world map cake, and even a globe as their guest book. There was no lack of laughter and fun as they celebrated such a magical day.

What makes having your wedding at a winery extra special? First, the fun and unique wedding photo opportunities. Being in the heart of a Virginia winery, you can take fantastic photos among the tanks and barrels. Then there’s the view. The happy couple is surrounded by vines during the ceremony, and guests have a stunning panorama of more than seven acres of vineyard. Real cork walls in the Compass Rose Room top off the unique ambiance with such amazing texture.
